More Summit County homeowners are losing their properties to foreclosure.The sheriff’s office sold 2,919 properties last year at weekly foreclosure auctions, an increase of more than 500 from the previous year.Since 2001, the number of foreclosed properties sold at sheriff’s sales has jumped 225 percent.
